from the CP3

So, we made it! Almost 30hrs of travelling and then we stepped of the amazing plane onto the tarmack of Kilimanjaro Airport! WOW!! It was very balmy - Africa pulled out a most warmest of welcomes for our Team Tanzania! We had the easiest cutsoms we've ever encountered, thanks to the assistance of Dr. Solomon, one of the local doctors who's been a friend of the Phil Simon Clinic for many years. The ride to the hotel was very enjoyable...we had to sing for the driver and tour guide and they were very impressed with our swahili! The lodge is dreamy...right "Out of Africa!" We all slept like logs and enjoyed a delicious breakfast!!! Now we're off to our first day of work with the schools, orphanges and home visits...more to report tomorrow! We're very proud of the team!
